ASAC Ronnie Burk is currently the Team Leader of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation High Risk Warrant Team (HRWT). ASAC Burk has been with the KBI for ten years, nine of which he has served on HRWT as a collateral duty Entry Operator. Since 2022, ASAC Burk has been the Team Leader with full time responsibilities of operational planning, organizing monthly team trainings, equipment appropriation, and development and implementation of tactics and procedures. Prior to service with the KBI, ASAC was an investigator with the Miami County, KS Sheriff’s office for twelve years, where most of his investigations involved major felony and narcotics related cases.
